Should I optimize my domain name to include keywords?

Yes you can optimize you keyword in domain. But it's not good for SEO due to some issues.
    looks spammy
    user cannot get it easily
brand name work better then your targeted keywords
unique domain will help your Brand establish Authority

It's not a forbidden practice, but if you try to do that you might end up with a weird looking domain name, which'll result in the users getting confused with it and generating lower amount of traffic than it possibly could. On the other hand if it you trying keeping it something small and handy which is easy to grasp, chances are it would be already booked or be ridiculously overpriced. So, my suggestions is to stay somewhere in between where it doesn't looks specifically made for keyword optimization and is somewhat closer to a easy to remember.
Hope this helped. Just a beginner here, so pardon me if I didn't get it right.
