Currently, there is a craze of creating websites by using CMS and one can get several benefits from the CMS based websites listed below:

    1. You can easily update the content and website design in the CMS.
    2. One can easily maintain the website without any technical knowledge.
    3. The navigation of the website is automatically adjusted.
    4. You can store the data into the database.
    5. The security level of the website is high.
    6. You can easily create the discussion board into the website by using CMS.

The downsides to using a CMS is that the site normally is not as well optimized, customizations can be more of a pain, and your site often is more open to exploits from using the CMS (or from using poorly written addons/plugins).

A good CMS can be very good for your SEO.

Note that with WordPress, although most Themes say "SEO optimized", this is usually just marketing, and not true at all. For the best advice, research on the Yoast website.

I disagree on the security level(5), WordPress websites don't have a high level of security.
They have security plugins that makes it a bit higher, but WordPress itself doesn't have that much of a security.
If I'm not mistaken , they are doing actions to overcome that problem.

A content management system (CMS) is a software application or set of related programs that are used to create and manage digital content. CMSes are typically used for enterprise content management (ECM) and web content management (WCM).

    Hey All,

I am an internet marketing executive. I have no know knowledge about the CMS. But I have used the WordPress cms first time, then I totally in a phobia. How I will maintain it. but its really easy to manage everything for me. In which I have easily added the content and manage all the things. So CMS is the best platform for developing the website.
